Best Pooch Dog Walker Dog Daycare & Dog Sitting

At Best Pooch, we offer both Group and Private walk options. We service the Vancouver westside including Dunbar, Kerrisdale, Point Grey and Kitsilano.

Prior to commencing our walks, I believe it is essential for us to meet and become acquainted. During this session, we can discuss preferred routes and any potential behavioral concerns.


Initial Meeting

Dog Daycare

Would you like to be away from the home knowing your dog is not going stir crazy with boredom?! Best Pooch also offers an extended walking service in the day pending availability, of a super walk/daycare option. This includes pick up in morning at 9:30 and return at 2:30. Your pooch will have the option to spend more time which will include being supervised over the lunch hour at the Best Pooch headquarters in our Kerrisdale location….owner Dave’s residence. They will be fed a healthy treat/lots of water and then come for the afternoon walk.

Price: $100 daily

Dog Sitting

Select time options for weekend and/or weekday dog sitting overnight. This option is reserved for one to two dogs who preferably know each other to stay while owner(s) are away. Again, this is in Kerrisdale at the home of myself and spouse. We have a three year old super friendly lab who makes friends within minutes, so, you’d leave knowing your dog is going to be happy and comfortable. Daily walks would happen at reduced rate and included in dog sitting fee.

Price: $ 120 nightly

  • Dog transportation in a licensed vehicle/with a licensed driver from your home

  • Daily reports and photo and/or video messaging  
  • Basic training while on walks
  • Socialization with other dogs on group walks
  • On leash/off leash/long leash walk possibilities dependent on your choice for your dog
  • Locations: forests, beaches, residential streets

Requirements of Best Pooch by dog owners…

  • Dog spayed/neutered
  • Up to date with all vaccines, including regular flea treatment 
  • Demonstration of no aggression
  • Preference for dogs to be licensed in the city of Vancouver
  • Commitment to regular weekly walks as part of group or solo service choice
